Section Properties

Each section of a website includes 3 files:

  1. index.pcf (section homepage)
  2. nav.inc (left navigation)
  3. _props.pcf

Update _props.pcf File

props.pcf has certain page parameter fields that are updated through this file but controlled through Properties option of a page.

  1. It must be checked out to edit it (click on light bulb to turn it yellow).

Described in steps 1 and 2

Don’t forget to check pages back in after editing is complete or before you log out. If the page was published it will automatically get checked back in.

  1. Do not publish _props.pcf after it is updated only publish the pages in the section that include information updated in this file.

For example:
If index.pcf is the only page in the section with Contact Info enabled in the left navigation then just publish index.pcf after updating Contact Info in props.pcf
